Description
This is one of my ‘Light Through Darkness’ series which I worked on during the 2020/21 lockdowns. I was exploring the idea that even in the darkest of times, there are moments where chinks of light shine through.
The stained glass in Coventry Cathedral was the starting point for this piece.
As I sat contemplating the history of the place, particularly it’s post-war regeneration, I felt that I needed to capture these layers of history alongside the juxtaposition of man-made and natural elements.
